About | Kaiate Falls

The Kaiate Falls are a real treat, especially if you enjoy jumping off from ledges and into the water. The ledges you can jump off are at least two meters high and our kids loved giving them a go, they’ve never jumped off something this high before so it was a real achievement for them. There are several tracks, but the loop down to the 15 metre falls is the most popular. It’s set amongst our native forest, you’ll be walking along the creek at times and see a few small waterfalls before you see the picturesque Kaiate Falls. There are few maps along the way showing you where you are so you don’t get lost.

Heading upstream first, we found little waterfalls and creeks.

As we descend the steps we hear the excitement down below as people jump off, making a big splash below. The waterfall and its surroundings are stunning. The kids watch as others jump into the water and work up their courage to do the same.

Now it’s their turn and though Mila is a little cautious at first, she jumps and before we know it, Ashton is close behind without any hesitation. So proud of them!
