About us
We are an adventurous kiwi family that love to explore our own backyard, inspiring others along the way. Road trips are our time to reconnect as a family and do some pretty amazing stuff together. We explore to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy Auckland life and find refuge in nature, slow down the pace and enjoy life’s simple pleasure such as being able to watch the sunset or cook dinner outdoors.

Let’s Be Explorers is all about helping families get outside to enjoy the great outdoors. We motivate and help families plan their kiwi road trip so that they can have fun on the road. We write about all things that relate to travel in New Zealand, from destinations, products, things to do and itineraries.
Our mission is to keep it real, and make family road trips fun!
Our images tell a story of our adventures in a fresh and documentary way. From our images, viewers can take a full look into the experience.
Our writing has a personal tone, describes places and activities in a fun yet explanatory way and shows the reader what they may need to be aware off as well as giving them fun ways to experience a place.
Our opinions are honest and are based on our experiences.
About our readers
Our readers are mostly aged between 25 – 34 and have a keen interest in walking, cycling, sports, travel and food. 92% of them are from New Zealand itself and the rest mostly coming from the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, China and France.
