Weather

Temperatures in the Coromandel reach between 24 – 31°C in the summer months and average around 12 – 14°C in the middle of winter.

Summer is a great time to visit the Coromandel for it’s beaches but spring is still nice and a lot less quieter. Spring and Autumn is a great time to head into the forest to enjoy nature.

Activities

Coromandel’s top family activities is the Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove. At one, you can dig you own hot water pool at the beach and at the other is a natural rock archway, this was also a film location in the Narnia.

While you are out here, there are plenty of stunning beaches, walking tracks and adventures to keep the whole family happy. The kids will also love the Driving Creek Railway.

Prepare to come with no obligations, the Coromandel, also known as being ‘good for the soul’ is a place to come and relax, and the beaches will have no problem helping you achieve just that!
