Made a dam and the boys were pretty proud. Swipe>> to see it! We later broke it down, letting the water come spilling out and rushing back down to meet the ocean. Better than electronics, they reckon.

This has got to be our best find this lockdown. Thought we'd discovered all of the best spots in Auckland but there's always something new to discover.

The walk takes you along the coastline but the boys just wanted to hop along the rocks for most of it. The wildflower, known as onion weed, were in flower and covered the ground making the walk even more dreamy.

To finish it off, big boulders to climb and explore. The boys are expert climbers with no fear of height, not like their mama! Think I have a little heart attack whenever they go too high and expertly move around the rocks with little to no care.

The water was so clear and so, so blue. We had the most best day exploring!
