About | Kiwi Valley
City kids will love getting to see and pat the farm animals at Kiwi Valley. Walk right in and you’ll be greeted by the friendly staff. You’ll then come through to the nursery where you can hold rabbits, guinea pigs and mice.
Walk through the maze and try to find your way through to the other side. There’s also a goat hiding in there! The maze also connects you to the man-made cave. Here you’ll find fairies set up.
Go on a tractor ride which takes you up to a hill where you can see Rangitoto and the Sky Tower far off into the distance. There may also be pigs, horses, goats or emus in the paddocks.
Come back down and head off on the farm walk. You’ll be given a container of feed which you can use to feed the farm animals – there are sheep, goats and emus. The peacocks, ducks and chickens will probably be roaming around as well.
Then head to the stables where you can go on a horse or pony ride.
Beside the stables is a big sandpit and further along is the kid’s playground. Both have some picnic tables beside them for you to have lunch on, or head over to the cafe next door.

Nursery
In the nursery, you get to hold and pet rabbits, guinea pigs and rats!
The Maze
Have fun getting lost in this maze.
You’ll be able to find a goat in the maze. We were able to convince Noah, who hadn’t fed the farm animals yet, to give it a go. From the photos, you can see just how much he enjoyed it! I love when they can overcome their fears and something great comes of it.
Horse riding
Playground
The boys loved jumping on the tractor and pretending they were driving it around in the fields!
Cave
A small, man-made cave, decorated with fairy lights takes you through to see a little fairy display.
Farm walk
We really liked the farm walk and being able to pat and feed the farm animals.
Sandpit
With lots of dump trucks and spades in the sandpit, the kids were in heaven.
Tractor ride
After pulling the boys away from the sandpit we finished it off with a tractor ride. It went up the hill where we could spot Rangitoto and the Shy Tower, then looped back and came back down.
