About | Waterview Reserve
The Waterview Reserve is a super fun place to hang out and has something for all ages. It opened up in 2015 and has quickly become a family favourite.
The playground has water play, a spiral stair tower, a superslide, swings, tunnels, and climbing nets. There’s also a little sandpit with sand equipment, including a little digger. The ground colour of the playground is a beautiful sea blue and sand colour to reflect the closeby Waitemata Harbour. During the summertime, bring a spare change of clothes and let the kids splash and get wet in the water play area.
A learn-to-cycle track surrounds and weaves through the playground, with a roundabout and arrows showing you which way to go.
There’s a skatepark and BMX track to keep all the bike and scooters lovers happy.
From Waterview Reserve, there are walkways going in each direction. The Oakley Creek Waterfall is a good one. You can go under and admire the towering new motorway infrastructure along the track.
There’s also a volleyball and basketball court, barbeque facilities, a large grassed area to kick a ball around in, picnic tables, a shady gazebo, toilets and drinking fountains.
This park really has it all and has something to please the whole family.
