About | Domain Wintergardens
The Auckland Domain Wintergardens are absolutely lovely, here you can view plenty of amazing plants in a glass-enclosed botanical garden. The kids will enjoy looking around at all of the different plants.
Built in the 1900s, the two Victorian-style glasshouses showcases rare and spectacular plants in an ever-changing display. One of the glasshouses is heated and features tropical plants while the other shows temperate plants which change with the seasons. Between the glasshouses is a beautiful courtyard with marble statues and a sunken pool.
If you’ve come to check out the Auckland War Memorial Museum definitely come check this out, too! Well worth it.

Tropical House
The kids loved the fish in the Tropical House! There was maintenance going on in this house so we weren’t able to go around all of it at the time.
Fernz Fernery
You’ll find the fernery entrance connecting to the courtyard.
